Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, as his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as providing food boxes for families in need, to preparing the church bulletins.

From the beginning of the church, those serving have always acted to help those in need. Families, elderly and the homeless sometimes are faced with the prospect of going hungry and not knowing how to remedy this situation in the future.  Hebron Baptist is blessed to have a small food pantry onsite. We consider it a joy and a wonderful opportunity to serve our neighbors by providing food boxes to anyone who finds themselves in need of one. The Lord has given our church the ability to show our faith and share his love to those who find themselves in need in our community. The food pantry is available year round. There is also a special box prepared for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to any families that need help on these larger holidays. If you ever are in need of a box or know of a family in need please contact one of our Food Pantry volunteers.

Ushers

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook  feed for additional church communication. We also have a YouTube channel that we post special videos and services.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We have a Prayer Chain available for those who wish to join in our Prayer Warrior Ministry. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
